Born in 1974 in Hong Kong. After graduating from Keio University with a degree in environment and information studies, joined Sony Music Entertainment. In 1998, set up Kayac with friends from college. The company - the sole company listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange with headquarters in Kamakura - makes websites and develops smart phone applications and social network games. While overseeing more than 100 projects as creative director, Yanasawa has served as judge for many web advertisement awards including the 2012 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, 2010 Tokyo Interactive Ad Award, 2009-2014 Yahoo! Japan Internet Creative Award. Author of books such as "Omoshiro Kayac (Interesting Kayac)" published by President, "Idea wa kangaeru na (Don't think of ideas)" published by Nikkei BP. Kayac officially calls itself a fun-loving company and employ an innovative way of management. Unique steps include letting employees choose their place of work, paying salaries based on the throw of a dice, encouraging employees to give compliments to each other, and having employees choose who they work with.
