Born in 1976 in Tokyo. Architect, editor and curator. Established "ryuji fujimura architects" in 2005. Studied at the Graduate School of Architecture of the Tokyo Institute of Technology until 2008. Currently a lecturer at Toyo University. Editor-in-chief of a free newspaper "ROUNDABOUT JOURNAL" and a web-based magazine "ART and ARCHITECTURE REVIEW". Major pieces of architecture he has designed include "BUILDING K" (2008), "House in Tokyo Suburbia" (2009), "Storage House" (2009), "Shed House" (2011), "House of House" (2012). Has written for and edited publications such as "After 1995", "Architect 2.0"(2011), "Architecture and Social Design after 3.11"(2011), "Designing the Architecture of Communication" (2012). Among major exhibitions he has curated are "Architects from HIPER VILLAGE" (hiromiyoshii, 2010), "CITY2.0" (EYE OF GYRE, 2010), "HYPER ARCHIPELAGO -Light of Silence" (Aomori Museum of Art, 2012).
