Koki Akiyoshi
Architect / Entrepreneur
Koki Akiyoshi has graduated from Shibaura Institute of Technology at the department of Architecture, and studied digital fabrication focusing on X-DESIGN at Keio University Graduate School of Media and Governance. In 2017 he founded VUILD, an architectural tech startup, aiming to "democratize architecture". He covers a wide range of design fields, from objects to events, such as digital fabrication and social design.He has received awards and acknowledgments such as SD Review award, Finalist (2018), SD Review award, Finalist (2019), Under 35 Architects exhibition , Gold Medal Prize (2019), Good Design Gold Award (2020), Archi-Neering Design AWARD Grand Prize (2021) Major publications include 'Meta-Architect - Architecture for the Next Generation', published by speelplaats press (2022), 'Reinventing Architects', published by VUILD Books (2022)
