SPREAD
SPREAD is a creative unit founded by Hirokazu Kobayashi and Haruna Yamada in 2004. By incorporating environment, creatures, objects, time, history, colors, letters, and memories, they create creative work that "SPREADs." With their distinctive style of "Color and Concept," they design and lead directions for graphic work, products, and exhibitions while they are heavily involved in the projects. Some of the notable work includes the 10th-anniversary commemorative visual work for The National Art Center, Tokyo, "Biology of Metal" at Japan House London, and a factory tour event at Tsubame-Sanjo Factory Festival. They are a recipient of the Red Dot Design Award, Good Design Award, and Japan Package Design Award, among many distinguished awards.
