Lighting designer Designs lighting from lighting fixtures to landscape illumination equipment, such as spatial production using light. Member of The Illuminating Engineering Institute of Japan, the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America, and the International Association of Lighting Designers. Fukushima Prefecture Landscape Adviser. Part‐time Lecturer at Tama Art University.
Major works: Beautiful Fukushima Future Expo, Roppongi Hills Arena, Tokyo International (Haneda) Airport Terminal 2, Omotesando Hills, Shibaura Island, Kaga Residence, Nankai Building, Haneda Airport International Passenger Terminal, Shibuya Hikarie, Toranomon Hills, Hotel Orion Motobu Resort & Spa, etc. Planned the "Kyoto Light Concept" in 1992, and was involved in illumination at the Byodoin, Ginkaku-ji, Kiyomizudera, and Kodaiji Temples in 1994, and the Kinkaku-ji and Shorenin Temples in 1996, etc.
