Makoto Tanijiri
Architect
Born in 1974 in Hiroshima Prefecture. After graduating from Anabuki Design College, worked at Motokane Achitects and HAL Architects. Set up Suppose design office in 2000. Has designed many buildings including more than 100 houses. Notable works include the light installation "Luceste: Toshiba LED lighting" and interior design for public facilities such as the "Machinohoikuen Shonan C-X" nursery. Tanijiri says his mission is to discover new ways of thinking about architecture and to come up with new ideas for buildings and our relationships to them. Currently part-time professor at Anabuki Design College and visiting professor at Hiroshima Jogakuin University.
