Jun Sugiyama

magma are the artist duo Jun Sugiyama and Kenichi Miyazawa. They combine scrap, electrical appliances and other such things to create a unique way of seeing the world, and as well as producing works of art they are involved in a range of other activities spanning everything from furniture and products to spatial design. 2017 marked the 10th year that they had been working together professionally, and to commemorate this they held a large-scale exhibition exclusively featuring their works at La Foret Museum in Harajuku, Tokyo. Their works fuse an analogue air that recalls the old days with wild colors, and they attract attention from both domestic and overseas audiences.
