Born in 1959 in Aichi Prefecture. After leaving the Department of Graphic Design at Tama Art University, he has worked as a graphic designer and art director and is currently the director of cozfish. With an unparalleled capacity to be "spellbound" by all published material, Sobue works with a wide array of genres at the forefront of book design in Japan. He also uses his talents in exhibition graphics and related goods such as for Snoopy Museum Tokyo and an exhibition on Miffy, the iconic bunny in Dick Bruna's picture books. A compilation of his past works, Shin Sobue + cozfish (PIE BOOKS), is currently on sale. He is also a member of both the AGI and TDC.
