From 2002 to 2006, held large-scale exhibitions of works by young artists once a year. Dubbed "Ongoing", the exhibitions were held in Tokyo and Yokohama and showed works selected through a public application process. Currently representative of Art Center Ongoing, an art facility set up in Kichijoji, Tokyo in January 2008. A network of several hundred young artists has been formed through his unique method of selection which includes calling on works from the public and artists choosing each other's works. The art center aims to constantly create and transmit new culture that goes is not tied down by established values.
