Plant Hunter
Head of Sora Botanical Garden. Born in 1980. Is the fifth-generation successor in a family business of plant and flower wholesaling that started 150 years ago at the end of the Edo period. In 2012, set up Sora Botanical Garden with the aim of raising public awareness about plants. Has collected several thousand types of plants on his extensive travels in Japan and around the world. Receives about 2,000 orders a year from clients both in Japan and abroad. Engaged in numerous plant and greenery-related projects for companies and organizations.
