Born in 1979 in Osaka Prefecture. In 2009, completed the fine arts course at Tokyo University of the Arts' Graduate School. Set up an art project called wah document and undertook activities all over Japan. Under the project, people from the general public were invited to give ideas for artwork and participate in making them.
A contemporary art team launched in 2012 whose central members are artist Haruka Kojin, art director Kenji Minamigawa, and art installer Hirofumi Masui. The members say their aim is to make works that "let the viewer sense in a real way, the infinitely uncertain real world." Without a set method or genre, the team places importance on the exhibition space and visitors, and how the visitor move from one spot to another. The team creates works by taking advantage of the individual traits of its members; it aims for close communication and cooperation in its activities, from conception of ideas to decision-making and realization, and for a strong bond between members during the creative process.
