Masahiro Kakinokihara
Graphic Designer
Kakinokihara was born in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1970. After his experience at DRAFT Corporation, he established 10inc. in 2007. Some of his most notable work can be seen in singingAEON, R.O.U., Fujitaka Towel branding, Kadokawa Culture Museum, Shizuoka City Museum of Art, NEWoMan YOKOHAMA, Shinmai Media Garden corporate identity/sign plan; he has also been involved in many projects for museum posters. From 2012, Kakinokihara has participated in Milano Salone, where he has exhibited various works, such as card game Rocca. His written works include Fukuinkan picture books Ponchinpan and Hitomoji-ehon amongst others. Kakinokihara was awarded the 2003 Graphic Designers Association New Face Award, and he has received many other awards, including the Memorial Prize of Hiromu Hara, the Tokyo ADC Award, the JAGDA Award, the New York ADC Award, The One Show Pencil Award, and the GOOD DESIGN Award.
