Asato Izumi

Born in 1956 in Tokyo. Graduated from Keio University with a degree in commercial science. Joined Tokyo News Service and became editor of magazines "Shukan TV Guide" and "Video Collection." Later became a freelance columnist. Knowledgeable about the culture of the Showa era, from television programs to movies and music. Besides writing columns for a variety of media, also appears on radio and TV as a commentator and presenter.
