Born in Tokyo in 1973. Studied photography as a contemporary art at Musashino Art University. Worked as a photographer's assistant at publisher Kodansha where he honed his practical shooting skills. A founding member of "SB", a skateboard magazine, and was its photo editor. Currently takes photographs for advertisements, CD jackets, fashion magazines and cultural magazines. Has made many acquaintances in Japan and abroad through his professional and personal life; putting this to good use, set up art gallery "No. 12 GALLERY" in Uehara, Shibuya ward in 2004 so that artists of different genres can show their works. Among his main works are "POOL" (published by Littlemore), "Barabara", a CD book (co-authored with Gen Hoshino and published by Littlemore) and "WORKSPACE IN TOKYO" (published by Magazine House).
