Katsuhiko Hibino

Born in 1958 in Gifu City. Took a master's degree at Tokyo University of the Arts. While a university student, gained attention for his works using cardboard. Has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Japan and abroad, and is engaged in activities in wide-rangingareasincluding public art and stage art. In recent years, has held many workshops around the country for the general public, making use of the characteristics of each region. Among books of his artworks and books he has written are "HIBINO", "HIBINO2", "Umino mukoni naniga aru" (What lies beyond the sea), "100 no Shirei"(100 orders), "Pijoppi Joppi"(Ordinary days and extraordinary days) published by Asahi Press, "Enohon" (Picture Book) published by Miki Shoko/Miki House, "KATSUHIKO HIBINO" published by Shogakukan, "8 Manmojinoe - Hyogen surukoto nitsuite" (Pictures of 80,000 characters - Thoughts on expression) published by PHP, "HIBINO LINE" published by Genkosha, and "Hi Essay of Katsuhiko Hibino" published by Tankosha Publishing.
