Born in 1958 in Gifu City. Took a master's degree at Tokyo University of the Arts. While a university student, gained attention for his works using cardboard. Has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Japan and abroad, and is engaged in activities in wide-rangingareasincluding public art and stage art. In recent years, has held many workshops around the country for the general public, making use of the characteristics of each region.
