Born in 1970 in Osaka Prefecture. Creative director and designer. Professor at Kyoto University of Art and Design's Department of Information Design. Studied sculpture at art college and later worked at an interior shop and a design company. In 1998, set up "graf" with people he had worked with at the interior shop. The company offers architectural and interior design services as well as brand development services. In recent years, Hattori has been involved in social projects such as reviving neighborhoods.
