Born in Tokyo. After his leaving of Keio University, Furuta's non-fictional book, "Wakaki Chosensha Tachi" (Challenge the World) was published in 1999, a writing on young generetions working for various kinds of business fields. Has been engaged as a Producer of the Magazine, Pokhara. Has established consulting company in N.Y. city in 2000. Has been based in Tokyo since 2002. Current major works include many community-based works and corporate branding developments such as "Nihonichino asa purojekuto" (Top Japan Morning Projects) in Yatsugatake, Yamanashi Prefecture, "Morning Expo in Marunouchi" in Marunouchi, Tokyo, community film projects in Hokkaido Prefecture and branding work for Kabuki.
