Develops unique software based on fluid mechanics and thermodynamics, and creates visual works that fuse science and art. Recent collaborative works where art and science come together include "New Synergetics - Nissan Leaf & Akira Wakita" (2017), a movie whose motif is Nissan's Leaf automobile, and "Ocean General Circulation Simulation"(2016), a movie depicting ocean currents which was made with a supercomputer and which was exhibited at Miraikan. In 2016, started an audio-visual project with musician Tetsuya Komuro and in the same year, showed Deep Space 8K at
Ars Electronica Festival; also drew attention with a live performance at MUTEK/RedBull Music Festival in 2017.
